Weather
The weather on the TV comes from:
- Properties in the United States: the U.S. National Weather Service.
- All other properties (and when the U.S. service is unavailable): data from MET Norway (the Norwegian Meteorological Institute), licensed under CC BY 4.0. The data is converted to °F and summarised into daily highs and weather icons.
Maps
For properties entered by hand, the area used for the weather is looked up from the postal code (or the city) with Nominatim, using map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
Service providers
Quackware Homescreen runs on DigitalOcean (servers, database and file storage in New York, USA), with Cloudflare for secure network delivery. Property and booking information comes from the booking system each host connects, such as Hospitable.
